We all deserve to be forgotten

by Regis Boff

There are precious few things that separate us from our pals the apes. I have always enjoyed lording our advantages over the monkeys because I know how much they resent it.
There is even less dissimilarity between computers and us and I am ill at ease with these machines having the permission to remember everything eternally.
We are compelled to die before the onslaught before our brains bloat and explode. This is a vital part of what it is to be human. Computers never experience this cerebral weight gain. They think they are Taylor Swift.
The noble French people (and who better than anyone understand weight gain) are in a herculean brawl with Google over compelling computers to “forget.”
We all deserve to be forgotten.
