Killing is the essential premise of mankind. A man’s geometry always suggests to him that taking life, on the small stage or large, is the shortest distance to his greater comfort and ease.
Men have prodded history inexorably towards leisure. It has never been our inclination to replenish our species. Women do that because they have to. We relax because we must.
